What a visit costs
We’re a member of the National Hauora Coalition PHO, so we can pass on partial health subsidies to enrolled patients. Appointments are 15 minutes, in the practice or by phone.
Payment is on the day. If paying is a problem, please talk to us before your appointment.

Children 13 and under pay nothing for any visit above except a home visit. Casual patients are people not enrolled with us.

Prices for procedures such as IUCDs, implants and immigration medicals are on the Services page. For anything else, ask our receptionists or doctors, who are always happy to give you a quote.
Southern Cross members
We’re an Affiliated Provider for Southern Cross. If your policy covers the services we provide, you can use Easy-claim.
About Easy-claim (Southern Cross)Help with paying
We don’t run accounts, but our Practice Manager Meriana is always available to talk about arrangements for paying. Please talk to her before your appointment if paying is a problem.
If you have a long-term condition, you may qualify for free or subsidised visits. The rules change often, so ask our staff and they’ll check.
Good to know
New patients
You’ll see our nurse first, who takes your medical history, then have an extended consultation with a doctor. Payment is required on the day. Please allow 1 hour for your first visit.
Test results
If we ask you to have blood tests, we’ll only contact you if a result is abnormal. You’re welcome to phone our nurse to check your results 3 days after your test.
Repeat prescriptions
You may be able to ask for a repeat prescription if one of our doctors first prescribed the medication and you’ve seen our doctor in the last 12 months. We need at least 48 hours’ notice. Sometimes we’ll ask you to come in: please don’t be offended, we’re putting your health first. We can’t do repeat prescriptions for children, because we need to check how they’re going.
Sick babies and young children
Sick babies and children under 5 don’t always need an appointment. If you think they need to be seen urgently, phone us on 09 298 0778 and tell us you’re bringing them in, so we can be ready.
After hours, East Care Urgent Care at 260 Botany Road, Howick (09 277 1516) provides care. Out-of-hours charges apply there. In an emergency, call 111.
